EPLAX celebrates its 10th anniversary

Founded on July 14, 2000 under the name “Elektro-Automatik Schaltnetzgeräte GmbH”, the company was renamed “EPLAX GmbH” following a management buyout in 2006. The ten years since its initial founding have been highly successful for the Bremen-based manufacturer of 19” standard power supply solutions. So when the 10th anniversary came around, it was a welcome chance for EPLAX to celebrate past and future market successes with business partners and the entire staff. That’s why EPLAX owners Wolfgang Pape and Andreas Mielke chartered the passenger ship “Das Schiff No. 2” and set course upstream the Weser river. Sunshine, great catering, and high spirits among guests and hosts made for a relaxed celebration on the waves.

Though EPLAX just turned ten years old, its roots and expertise in industry-specific power supply solutions reach back more than three decades. The company gained complete independence in the mid-oughts and was formerly a part of Bremen-based VERO Electronics. Since then EPLAX GmbH has secured a very successful market position – position it continually builds on with production collaborations, the creation of a competency network, and expansion of its dealer and distribution networks throughout the U.S. and Asia. Today, EPLAX and the highly qualified EPLAX staff are renowned as leading providers of customized and standard power supply solutions – and the company is a positive model for the innovative power of Bremen-based medium-sized enterprises.
